Prym Eyelets with Washers 4mm
Use for corsetry, craft projects or anywhere you want a make a tidy hole in fabric. With eyelet and a washer, this eliminates fraying and sharp edges. Handy all in one tool.
50 Silver Eyelets and washers
Size: 4mm
Note from The Parlour: I usually use an eyelet press when doing corsetry eyelet panels, so thought I had better give this a go. I was very surprised at how well this kit worked, once I figured out which part went where. The little dies get inserted into the purple press, (this is not a hand press, you need a small hammer to give it 2-3 hard knocks, so keep your fingers out of the way). Use a hard surface with the little black plastic circle or a block of wood. Made a nice job. We also have coloured 4mm eyelets that I tried in the press, they fitted into the dies and hammered on just as well, so check out our different eyelets, to add something other than silver to your project. - coming online soon
WARNING: Always do some practice eyelets first, on a scrap that is the same as what you will be using. After all Practice makes Perfect.

Was a little confusing to use at first, but after googling a tutorial it was very easy to use. Unfortunately, it broke the very first time I used it. Up until that point it was super useful and made the process of setting grommets much faster, but I only set around 12 when it snapped. Fortunately I was still able to use it and finish the process, but I wouldn't recommend because of how flimsy it is.
I really had no idea how this was supposed to be used and the instructions weren't super clear, it definitely would have been nicer with clearer instructions.
HOWEVER! I was able to figure it out eventually and once I did, it was great!
I have the big tools used for making the holes and adding snap buttons and such but this was so much easier to use as it uses the force of a hammer instead of grip strength which was great.
I did have it snap on me likely because it wasn't lined up well on the black stopper when I hit with the hammer, but I was able to take it back together and it once again worked as intended.
Very happy with this and keen to continue using in the future.
I used these with the vario creative tool with excellant results. The pressing tools it comes with fits perfectly in to the creative tool.
I used these with the Vario pliers and even for someone with poor wrist strength I didn't find them too difficult to insert through 3 layers of coutil. I used a tailors awl to make the holes rather than the cutting tool since it compromises the fabric strength less to use an awl, even if it's a bit more fiddly with multiple layers of tightly woven fabric.
