Introducing our very first Do It Yourself corset kit. The Evie Corset Kit contains everything you need to make a beautiful corset.

The Evie Corset in a Box offers a waist reduction fit with built in bra cups & is fully lined with metal bones for added structure. It features 12 panels that conform to the body's curves and has a traditional lace-up back panel closure with eyelets. Designed to sit just below the natural waistline, it boasts a sweetheart neckline and a V-shaped waist for a flattering silhouette.

Evie Corset Kit uses Coutil fabric, the same type that has been used for centuries to make corsets for women. Because of its herringbone weave it has no stretch. So when conformed around the body it really snatches in the waist!

Create your own Evie Corset by first cutting out the paper patterns, followed by making a calico mock with supplied plastic bones for testing. Moving forward to preparing your fabric for cutting, getting the perfect seam allowances, bone channels, bone cutting & capping techniques, inserting of bra cups, and attaching lining are all important steps for sewing the corset together. Complete the process by hand finishing the hem with a binding, resulting in a beautifully constructed corset. 

Technical Material: Corset patterns have been hand drawn in collaboration with Melanie Jayne - bridal & corset specialists. Each size has been constructed & tested for fit. 

Suitable from beginners to experienced sewers. A knowledge of your sewing machine is needed and some simple hand sewing is recommended before attempting the project. Recommended for ages 15 & up.
